Remove URLs and images from Google in Singapore
NetClearer gets harmful links and images out of Google Search and Google Images: we file delisting requests under Google’s own policies, ask the website to delete the page, and check that the result does not return. Send the links for a free assessment. Each link is S$42, fixed price, no extra fees.

Delisting and deleting are two different things
Google does not host the pages it shows. When it accepts a request, it stops displaying a URL or an image in its results, but the page stays on the website and can still be shared or found through other search engines. When the website deletes the page, it disappears everywhere, and Google drops the result once it recrawls or once you file a refresh request through its outdated content tool.
So we treat every link on two levels: delisting from Google for speed and visibility, and deletion at the source for a lasting result. For pages on HardwareZone, Reddit, Telegram or adult tube sites, the source step usually matters most.
What Google agrees to remove
Singapore law gives no right to be forgotten, so Google applies its global policies here. Each has its own form, and requests usually succeed for:
- Non-consensual intimate images, through the explicit imagery form, and AI-generated explicit images of you through a separate form for synthetic content
- Personal information: phone number, home address or email, and doxxing, which Google defines as contact details shown with threats or a compilation of information
- Identity and financial details: a “Resident ID card number” (NRIC or FIN), passport, bank account or card numbers, images of signatures or ID documents
- Images of people under 18, at their request or a parent’s
- Sites with exploitative removal practices that charge people to take content down
- Outdated results where the page was already deleted or edited but Google still shows the old title or snippet
Results that are only negative, such as an opinion or a fair review, usually stay unless the page itself goes. Google’s “Results about you” tool is not confirmed for Singapore, so we file through the standard forms, one URL per request.
Common Google problems in Singapore
- Leaked images from Telegram groups re-uploaded to tube sites, then showing in Google Images under a person’s name. Three adult tube sites rank among the 14 most visited websites in Singapore, which is why copies multiply.
- Forum threads from HardwareZone EDMW or r/singapore with a full name in the title, ranking above your own profiles
- Stomp posts naming a person over an incident, years after it happened
- Scraped copies of Facebook or Instagram posts on mirror sites after the original was deleted
- Impostor profiles using your photos, appearing in image search

A Google result is often one part of a larger case. For an intimate photo or video, start with intimate image removal or leaked video removal. The Online Safety Commission and Google
For doxxing, intimate image abuse and image-based child abuse, citizens, PRs and valid pass holders (Work Permit, S Pass, Employment Pass, Dependant’s Pass and others) can report directly to the Online Safety Commission at report.osc.gov.sg; for harassment and stalking, the platform comes first. It is free. The OSC can direct posters, administrators and platforms, and when a foreign site does not comply it can have access blocked in Singapore. If your case qualifies, file with the OSC.
Whether the OSC directs search engines to delist results has not been made public, so we do not rely on it for Google. NetClearer adds Google and image requests, copies hosted abroad (blocked in Singapore but still visible elsewhere), content outside the OSC’s current harms, repeat uploads, and cases the OSC cannot take: tourists, people abroad without a pass, anonymous victims and businesses.
How we remove a URL from Google
- Free assessment. Send the URLs, or the search terms that bring them up, through our contact form or on Messenger. Within 24 hours we tell you which policy applies to each and the fixed price.
- Source request. We ask the site, its moderators or its host to delete or edit the page, citing its own terms and, where relevant, Singapore law: POHA s 3(1)(c) for doxxing, or Penal Code s 377BE, which makes distributing or threatening to distribute an intimate image an offence and, since 17 August 2026, expressly covers AI-generated images (s 377BE(5)(b)).
- Google request. We file the matching Google form for the page and each image URL, with the screenshots and search terms Google asks for.
- Refresh and check. Once the page is gone or edited, we file an outdated content request so the old snippet disappears, then verify the search again.
- Monitoring. The 20-link pack and monthly plans include checks for re-uploads at new addresses.
Why Google requests are refused
The usual reasons: the wrong form (an intimate image filed as “personal information”), a page URL given instead of the image URL for Google Images, several pages in one request, a missing screenshot showing where your details appear, or an outdated content request filed before the site has actually removed the page. We check each point before filing. When Google refuses, we re-file once with better evidence or switch to the source route.
Prices and what we will not promise
One link is S$42 (action within 48 hours), three links S$99 (within 36 hours), ten links S$286 (within 24 hours, with a removal report), twenty links S$501 (with monitoring for re-uploads). Packs of 50 and 100 links and monthly plans from S$113 cover larger cases. Fixed prices in Singapore dollars, no extra fees; details on the prices page.
We request; Google and the websites decide. We never claim guaranteed removal, never send fake legal claims, and give no legal advice (NetClearer is not a law firm). When a result is unlikely to go, we tell you before you pay.
Frequently asked questions
Can I remove a URL from Google myself?
Yes, Google’s forms are free and open to anyone. People come to us when there are many links, when the site also needs to delete the page, when requests have been refused, or when they cannot face looking at the content again. We handle it all and follow up.
If Google removes the link, is the content gone?
No, only the search result. The page remains on the website and can be shared directly. That is why we also ask the site to delete it, and why the larger packs include monitoring for copies that appear at new addresses.
Does the Online Safety Commission handle Google results?
The OSC directs posters, administrators and platforms on the harms it covers. It has not said publicly whether it directs search engines to delist results. Google’s own forms remain the established route for search results, and that is the part we take on, alongside any OSC report you file.
Will the website owner know it was me?
Google does not tell site owners who requested a delisting. When we contact a website directly, we act on your behalf and share only what the request needs. If a legal notice requires your name, we explain why and ask your permission first.
