Remove fake Trustpilot reviews from your Singapore business page

Trustpilot takes down reviews that are not based on a genuine experience, expose personal data, promote someone else or were meant for another company. NetClearer builds the evidence and contacts Trustpilot directly for your Singapore business under a signed authorisation; Trustpilot makes the final decision. Grounds Trustpilot accepts

Each report must name one guideline and prove it. These are the grounds that work for Singapore businesses:

  • No genuine experience: the author never ordered, visited or used your service, or the text came from a review-selling scheme.
  • Harmful or illegal content: threats, hate, harassment of named staff, or a demand for a refund or free service in exchange for deleting the review.
  • Personal information: a staff member’s mobile number, a customer’s HDB block and unit number, a partial NRIC.
  • Advertising: a review that pushes a rival shop or carries a link.
  • Wrong business: a review meant for another company with a similar name, common when a regional brand and a local Pte Ltd share a name. This ground is reserved to the business concerned, which is why we file it under your company’s authorisation.

A customer who explains, even harshly, that a delivery came late or support never answered is using Trustpilot as intended. That review stays, and we say so at the free assessment instead of taking your money.

Why reports fail, and how we avoid it

Trustpilot watches for misuse of its reporting tools: flagging reviews in rapid succession, flagging a large share of honest negative reviews, or flagging the same review repeatedly. A business that does this loses credibility with the Content Integrity team. The other usual cause of refusal is a report that asserts “fake” without anything to check.

So we file one report per review, tied to one guideline, with evidence Trustpilot can verify: no matching order or booking reference, a burst of one-star reviews from new profiles on the same day, identical wording across profiles. We never resubmit a closed case without new evidence.

What happens after you contact us

  1. Free assessment. Send the review links through the contact form (Messenger is a second option). You get a list: reportable, not reportable, and the reason for each.
  2. Order. You choose a pack and pay by card through Stripe. The scope is fixed before you pay.
  3. Evidence. Your team checks the order system for each reviewer’s name or reference and sends us the result, not your customer database.
  4. Authorisation, not access. You sign a short authorisation for the company. We never ask for your Trustpilot Business login, are never added as a user, and you never have to file anything yourself.
  5. Report and outcome. We contact Trustpilot directly with the evidence and send you its decision review by review.

The CCS case of 30 September 2026

The Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCS) acted against 45 businesses and a fake-review provider under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act and the Competition Act 2004. The fake reviews sat on Google, Facebook, Tripadvisor, Carousell, Yelp and Trustpilot. The businesses must stop, remove every fake review, report to the CCS and display apologies for six months.

For you this means two things. We never write, buy or reward reviews, and we turn away clients who do. And if a competitor is attacking you with invented reviews, the evidence we assemble can also support a disclosure to the CCS. We are not a law firm: for a defamation claim, we tell you when to see a lawyer.

Price and next step

1 review S$29, 3 reviews S$78, 10 reviews S$214. Fixed prices, no extra fees, secure card payment via Stripe. We promise the work and the follow-up, not the outcome: Trustpilot decides. Since there are no refunds, the assessment comes first and we decline reviews without a basis.

Send the review links for a free assessment. Other platforms are on our fake review removal page, and every pack is on the pricing page.

Frequently asked questions

Can you remove a one-star review that is simply unfair?

Only if it breaks a Trustpilot guideline. A low rating with an honest account of a bad experience is allowed, even if you disagree with it. For those, a calm public reply usually does more for your TrustScore than a report, and we tell you that rather than file one bound to fail.

Can the Online Safety Commission remove a Trustpilot review?

No. Reviews about a business are not among the harms the Commission handles, and a company cannot report in its own name. If a review exposes an employee’s phone number or address, that employee can report doxxing to the Commission free of charge, while we deal with Trustpilot for the company.

Do you need our Trustpilot Business account?

No. We work with a signed authorisation from your company and contact Trustpilot directly. You keep full control of your account, replies and invitations, never share a password, never add us as a user and never have to file the report yourself.

What happens if Trustpilot keeps the review online?

We send you Trustpilot’s answer and explain it. If new evidence appears, such as proof the reviewer works for a competitor, we raise the case again. If not, we suggest a factual public reply, and we never resubmit the same report just to push the platform.

Tell us what’s happening. We’ll take it from here.

Free, confidential assessment. Send the links through the form: we reply within 24 hours with the route and the fixed S$ price.
