On the six prescribed platforms, the law now sets deadlines: they must act on an online harm notice about intimate images or child abuse material within 24 hours (6 hours where intimate parts are exposed) and on other harms within 48 hours. A report that cites the right harm and includes URLs and dated screenshots is the one that triggers those deadlines.

Online Safety Commission or NetClearer?

Since 29 June 2026 the Online Safety Commission (OSC) handles intimate image abuse, image-based child abuse and doxxing directly, and online harassment and stalking once the platform has failed to respond adequately within 24 hours. It is free. Citizens, PRs and holders of a valid pass (Work Permit, including migrant domestic workers, S Pass, Employment Pass, Dependant’s Pass, Long-Term Visit Pass, Student’s Pass and others) can report at report.osc.gov.sg with proof of identity. If you qualify, use it.

The OSC does not take anonymous reports, reports from companies in their own name, or reports from tourists and people abroad without a pass. Impersonation, reputation harm and fake reviews are not yet covered. Against a foreign site that ignores a direction, its remedy is blocking for users in Singapore, so the content stays online elsewhere. That is where NetClearer works: overseas sites and mirrors, Google de-indexing requests, re-uploads, businesses, and doing every report for you when you would rather not see the material again.

How we work on any platform

  1. Send the links confidentially through the contact form (Messenger is a second option). Screenshots with dates help; you never need to send the intimate image itself.
  2. Free assessment. We tell you which route fits each link, whether the OSC is the better first step, and the fixed price. You pay only if you go ahead, by secure card payment via Stripe.
  3. Action within 48 hours for one link (S$42), 36 hours for three (S$99), 24 hours for ten (S$286, with a removal report). We never contact your employer or family and never need your passwords.
  4. Follow-up and Google. We chase each report to a decision, re-file refusals with better evidence, and ask Google to drop removed pages. Monitoring for re-uploads comes with the 20-link pack (S$501) and monthly plans from S$113.

We promise actions and timelines, not outcomes: each platform makes its own decision. NetClearer is not a law firm and does not give legal advice; for court orders under the Protection from Harassment Act, see a lawyer or the Protection from Harassment Court. Full price list on pricing.

Tell us what’s happening. We’ll take it from here.

Free, confidential assessment. Send the links through the form: we reply within 24 hours with the route and the fixed S$ price.
