Why the platform matters
A leaked video on Telegram, a fake profile on Tinder and a defamatory post on Facebook do not go through the same process. Each platform decides under its own policies (privacy, impersonation, non-consensual intimate imagery, harassment, copyright) and asks for different proof. A report filed under the wrong policy is often refused, and a second report on the same content is harder to win.
