Remove a leaked video from Telegram
Your video or photos are shared in a Telegram channel or group? NetClearer reports the public channels and posts to Telegram’s moderators, then removes the copies on mirror websites and asks Google to de-index them. You never send us the video: the t.me links are enough. From ₱2,050 per link, taxes included.

What we remove on Telegram
- Posts in public channels (t.me links) that share or sell a leaked video, often called “scandal” or “lapagan” channels.
- Whole channels and public groups built around leaked content of real people.
- Web copies outside the app: channel preview pages, Telegram directory websites and scandal sites.
- Google results pointing to any of the above.
Public channels vs private groups
This is the most important distinction on Telegram. A public channel or group has a username and a t.me link that anyone can open. Its posts can be reported, and many of them are also visible on the web, which is why they show up in Google.
A private group or channel only opens with an invite link. Nobody outside it can see the content, including us. A member can report messages from inside the chat, but we cannot clean a private group from the outside. We make sure nothing from it reaches public channels, websites or Google.
How Telegram handles abuse reports
Telegram’s FAQ lists sharing nude photos or videos without consent among the illegal content its moderators act on. There are two routes, and we use both:
- The Report button inside the app, on the channel profile or on a single message, with the reason that matches the content.
- An email to abuse@telegram.org with the exact link or @username of the channel and of each post, and a short, factual description.
Telegram does not publish response times and does not always reply, so we check each link again after a few days and report again with more context when a channel stays online.
The DICT and CICC agreement with Telegram
In February 2026, after the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) said it was considering a ban, the DICT and the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC) announced an agreement with Telegram. As reported in Philippine media, Telegram committed to a 24/7 helpdesk for illegal content, monthly takedown reports to the DICT and CICC, and zero tolerance for child sexual exploitation.
This helpdesk is a channel between Telegram and the government, not a public form. For a victim, the way in is a complaint to the CICC hotline 1326 or the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group. If you file one, tell us: we mention the complaint reference in our reports, and the authorities can escalate channels that ignore ordinary reports. If the person in the video was under 18, go to the authorities first.
Mirrors outside Telegram
Telegram content rarely stays inside Telegram. Directory websites copy public channel posts onto web pages, and scandal sites download the files and re-upload them. These copies are often what people find on Google when they search your name.
For each mirror, we report to the website, then to its hosting provider if the site ignores us, and we ask Google to remove the pages under its policy on non-consensual explicit imagery. For tube and scandal sites, see remove your video from adult websites.
When Telegram does not act
- We report again with a clearer reason and the full list of posts, not only the channel.
- We point to the law: sharing a private sexual video without consent is a crime under the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act (RA 9995). We are not a law firm and do not give legal advice.
- We work around the channel: we remove every web copy and Google result, so the content becomes much harder to find.
Honest limits
- Files already downloaded to someone’s phone cannot be deleted remotely.
- Private groups we cannot see are out of reach unless a member reports them.
For the full process across all sites, see remove a leaked video and our page to remove intimate images. If your name, number or address is posted with it, we also remove personal information. Prices are on content removal prices, and other networks are listed under platforms we handle.
Frequently asked questions
Can you remove my video from a private Telegram group?
Not from the outside: private groups are invisible to anyone who is not a member. A member can report messages from inside the chat. We focus on public channels, mirror websites and Google, which is where strangers find the video, and we watch for it moving to public places.
Will the channel owner know I reported it?
No. Reports to Telegram are confidential and we file them under our name. Your name only appears in a request when a website or the law requires the person concerned to identify themselves, and we always ask you before sending anything like that.
Do I need to send you the video?
Never. The t.me links of the channel and of each post are enough, plus screenshots that do not show the intimate content if you have them. Telegram’s abuse team and Google also work from links, so the video never needs to be shared again.
What if the channel deletes the post and posts it again?
It happens often. The 20, 50 and 100 link packs and the monthly plans include monitoring for re-uploads, so new posts and new mirror pages are reported as soon as we find them. We can also report the whole channel when the pattern repeats.
