Remove a fake Tinder profile using your photos
Someone made a fake Tinder profile using your photos or name? NetClearer reports it to Tinder with the details its team needs, even if you have no Tinder account, follows up until a decision, and checks other dating apps for the same photos. From ₱2,050 per profile, taxes included, after a free assessment.

What we remove on Tinder
- Profiles using your photos under another name, often to attract matches for a scam.
- Profiles using your name and photos that pretend to be you (“may poser ako sa Tinder”).
- Catfish profiles built from your Instagram or Facebook pictures.
- Copies of the same fake profile on other dating apps.
Tinder impersonation reports
Tinder’s Community Guidelines do not allow impersonating others or misrepresenting a connection with any person. There are two ways to report a profile:
- In the app: open the profile, tap the three dots, choose Report and pick the reason. This needs a Tinder account and the profile has to appear in your Discovery or your matches.
- Without an account: through the contact form on Tinder’s help center, which lets anyone report a profile, including the person impersonated.
The problem for most victims is that they cannot find the fake profile in the app: Tinder shows profiles by location and preferences. Friends usually spot it first. That is why the second route matters, and it is the one we use for you.
Proof of identity
A Tinder profile has no public link, so the report must describe it precisely. Tinder’s help center asks for the exact name, age, bio and photos shown on the profile, ideally as screenshots, plus any location, phone number, email or social media account linked to it.
We build that file from the screenshots your friends took, add your real photos to show they are yours, and explain clearly that you did not create the profile. Tinder states that reports are confidential. If Tinder asks you to confirm your identity, the proof goes to Tinder only.
Catfish and romance scams
Stolen photos on Tinder are often the first step of a romance scam: the fake profile matches, moves the chat to WhatsApp or Telegram, then asks for money or for intimate photos. The victims may later blame you, because they only know your face.
If someone already threatens to share intimate photos, do not pay and see sextortion help. Scams can be reported to the CICC hotline 1326.
Related dating apps
Scammers rarely use one app. Once your photos are in their collection, the same pictures appear on Bumble, FilipinoCupid, Badoo or PinaLove. During the case we search for them, and report each profile on its own platform: see remove a fake Badoo profile and remove a fake PinaLove profile. For Facebook and Instagram posers, see remove fake accounts.
When Tinder does not act
- We send a second report with better screenshots or new sightings from friends.
- We point to your rights under the Data Privacy Act (RA 10173), since your photos are personal information. We are not a law firm and give no legal advice.
- We go after the source: if your photos come from a public Facebook or Instagram account, we help you lock them down.
Honest limits
- Tinder may not tell you the outcome of a report. We check through friends’ screenshots or another search.
- A banned scammer can open a new profile with the same photos: monitoring catches it.
Prices are on content removal prices, and other networks are listed under platforms we handle.
Frequently asked questions
I do not have Tinder. Can the fake profile still be removed?
Yes. Tinder’s help center contact form accepts reports from people without an account, which is the usual case for impersonation victims. We file it for you with the profile details your friends saw, so you never need to create an account or contact the scammer.
Will the person behind the profile know I reported it?
No. Tinder states that reports are confidential, and the fake profile owner is not told who reported it. We file under our name. Your identity is only shared with Tinder if Tinder asks you to confirm that the photos are yours.
How long does Tinder take to remove a fake profile?
We file within 48 hours of your order. Tinder does not publish a response time. We follow up, file again if needed, and check through new searches or friends’ screenshots whether the profile is still visible.
How much does it cost for several fake profiles?
Each fake profile counts as one link. One costs ₱2,050, three cost ₱4,900 and ten cost ₱14,100, taxes included. If your photos are on several dating apps, the larger packs or a monthly plan with monitoring usually work out cheaper.
