Remove a fake PinaLove profile using your photos

Your photos are used on a PinaLove profile you did not create? NetClearer reports the fake profile to PinaLove’s moderators with proof that the photos are yours, follows up until it is removed, and checks other dating sites for the same pictures. From ₱2,050 per profile, taxes included, after a free assessment.

What we remove on PinaLove

  • Profiles using your photos under another name, usually to chat with foreign men.
  • Profiles pretending to be you with your name, city and pictures (“ginamit ang picture ko sa PinaLove”).
  • Scammer profiles that use your face to ask members for money.
  • The same photos on other sites such as FilipinoCupid, Tinder or Badoo.

PinaLove reporting

PinaLove is a dating site focused on the Philippines, with many members abroad. Its Community Guidelines tell members to use only photos they have legal ownership of, and forbid impersonating other people. Its own tools are:

  • The Report Profile option on every profile, which sends it to a moderator for review. PinaLove says it does not notify the user that they were reported. This needs a logged-in account.
  • Reports of bad messages from the chat page, for members who were contacted by the fake profile.
  • The contact page of PinaLove’s support, which we use to explain an impersonation case in detail and send the proof.

PinaLove also offers profile verification: moderators check a member’s selfies against their profile photos, and verified profiles are marked. A fake profile using your pictures cannot pass this check, which is a useful argument in our report.

Photos stolen from Facebook

Fake PinaLove profiles often use pictures copied from a public Facebook or Instagram account: a profile photo, beach pictures, graduation photos. Scammers choose ordinary, real-looking women and men because they look trustworthy.

The proof that the photos are yours is usually on that same Facebook account: the original posts, with their dates, before the PinaLove profile existed. We link them in the report. Afterwards, we help you limit who can see and download your photos, so they are harder to take again. If a fake Facebook account was also created, see remove fake accounts.

Scammer profiles and sextortion risk

PinaLove’s dating safety page tells members never to send money for any reason and to report anyone who asks. Fake profiles using your face do exactly that: they build a relationship with a foreign member, move the chat to another app, then ask for money for a hospital bill, a visa or a ticket.

Two risks follow for you. Victims who lost money may find your real accounts and blame you. And some fake profiles collect intimate photos from members to blackmail them later. If you, or someone you know, is being threatened with intimate photos, do not pay and see sextortion help. Scams can be reported to the CICC hotline 1326.

When PinaLove does not act

  1. We write again with more proof: dated originals, screenshots, and messages from members who were approached.
  2. We cite the Data Privacy Act (RA 10173): your photos are personal information used without consent. We are not a law firm and give no legal advice.
  3. We check the other sites where the same scammer is active: remove a fake Tinder profile and remove a fake Badoo profile.

Honest limits

  • Money already sent to a scammer cannot be recovered by removing a profile. That is a matter for the bank or e-wallet and the police.
  • Scammers can register again with the same photos. Monitoring, included in the larger packs, catches new profiles.

Frequently asked questions

I am not a PinaLove member. Can the profile still be removed?

Yes. We report it for you through PinaLove’s support with the proof that the photos are yours, so you do not need to join the site or contact the scammer. If a friend or member found the profile, their screenshots and the profile name help us locate it quickly.

Will the scammer know that I reported the profile?

No. PinaLove states that it does not notify users that they were reported, and we file under our name. Your identity is only given to PinaLove’s support if they need to confirm that you are the person in the photos, and we ask you first.

Someone who was scammed is blaming me. What should I do?

Keep the messages, do not send money, and explain calmly that your photos were stolen. Report the scam to the CICC hotline 1326. We report the fake profile, and you can tell people that it was reported as an impersonation and point to your real accounts.

How long does PinaLove take to remove a fake profile?

We file within 48 hours of your order. PinaLove does not publish a response time. We check the profile again after a few days, write again if needed, and keep you informed by Messenger or email until the profile is gone.

Tell us what’s happening. We’ll take it from here.

Free, confidential assessment. We answer within 24 hours.
