Remove false scam posts and fake reviews about your shop
Was your shop falsely posted as a scammer? NetClearer removes scam accusations against online sellers: false call-out posts on Facebook and Marketplace, fake or abusive reviews on Shopee, Lazada and Carousell, and fake shops using your business name. We report under each platform’s rules, from ₱2,050 per link, taxes included.

What to do right now
- Do not reply in anger under the post. A calm, factual reply with an order number helps; an argument spreads the post further.
- Save the evidence: links, screenshots with the date, the buyer’s name or username, and your order and delivery records.
- Check for your personal data in the post: GCash number, home address, family photos. Those details are often the fastest ground for removal.
- Warn your customers on your official page if a fake shop is collecting payments in your name.
False “scammer” posts on Facebook and Marketplace
A single call-out post in a big buy-and-sell group can stop your sales for weeks. Many are posted by a buyer whose parcel was delayed, by a competitor, or by someone who mixed you up with a real scammer using a similar name. Meta does not judge who is right in a transaction, so we report on grounds it does act on: harassment, personal information such as phone numbers, GCash details or addresses, photos posted without consent, and, where the claim is false and documented, Meta’s defamation reporting process where it is available.
We also ask group admins to remove the post, with your order history and delivery proof. Admins often act faster than Meta. For posts about you as a person rather than as a shop, see how we remove Facebook posts about you.
Shopee, Lazada and Carousell reviews
Marketplaces keep honest ratings, including bad ones, and so do we. But each one has rules that reviews must follow. Shopee, for example, lets sellers report ratings with abusive language, personal information, misleading claims, or photos and videos unrelated to the product. Lazada’s community rules prohibit vulgar, discriminating and spam content, and Carousell reviews must also respect its community guidelines.
- Fake reviews from accounts that never bought from you, or review waves from competitors
- Abusive or threatening reviews, insults and discriminatory language
- Reviews with personal data: your phone number, address or the name of your staff
- Off-topic reviews about the courier, a different product or a dispute with no link to the order
- Blackmail reviews: “refund me or I post 1 star”
We contact each platform’s seller support directly on your behalf, as your authorised representative, with the order details it needs, and follow up when the first report is refused. We never need your seller login. We never post, buy or incentivise reviews, and genuine criticism stays. Fake shops using your business name
Copycat pages and shops use your name, logo and product photos to take payments and never deliver. Your real customers then post that you are the scammer. We report the fake page or shop for impersonation and intellectual property infringement, with your DTI or SEC registration, trademark if any, and links to your official accounts. How we clear your shop’s name
- Free assessment. Send us the links on Messenger or through the form. We check each post, review and fake shop and tell you what can be removed and the price before you pay.
- Reports at the source. We contact Facebook, Marketplace, each marketplace’s seller support and group admins directly on your behalf, as your authorised representative under a mandate letter you sign, citing the specific rule each item breaks. You keep full control of your shop accounts; we never ask for your login.
- Google. If the posts appear when people search your shop name, we ask Google to refresh or remove the results once the source is gone, or when they show personal data.
- Follow-up. We chase every report and tell you the outcome for each link. If a platform asks the shop owner to confirm something, we tell you. The 10 link pack includes a removal report you can show to partners.
Evidence sellers should keep
- Official receipts and invoices for each disputed order
- Chat logs with the buyer, exported or screenshotted with dates
- Tracking numbers and courier proof of delivery
- Payment records: GCash, Maya or bank transfer confirmations
- Business documents: DTI or SEC registration, BIR registration, trademark
- Screenshots of the post or review with the URL and date visible
Good records turn a “he said, she said” dispute into a report a platform can decide on.
Your rights as a seller
Posting your phone number, GCash details or address without consent can violate the Data Privacy Act (RA 10173), and online libel falls under the Cybercrime Prevention Act (RA 10175). The Consumer Act (RA 7394) protects buyers, and genuine complaints have a right to be heard. We are not a law firm and do not give legal advice; we use platform rules first, and prepare an evidence file if you decide to see a lawyer or the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group.
Honest limits
- Genuine negative reviews about a real order stay. We can help you reply professionally.
- Posts in private groups or chats we cannot see or access cannot be reported from outside.
- The platform decides. We file the strongest report and escalate, but we cannot force a removal.
Frequently asked questions
Will the buyer know I reported the post or review?
Facebook does not tell the poster who reported a post for breaking its Community Standards. On marketplaces, we report the review on your behalf, and the buyer is usually not told who reported it. We keep the tone factual, so there is nothing that would make the dispute worse.
Can you remove a 1-star review on Shopee or Lazada?
Only if it breaks the platform’s rules: fake, abusive, off-topic, with personal data, or used as blackmail. An honest bad rating about a real order stays, and we will say so in the free assessment instead of taking your money for a report that cannot succeed.
How fast can a scammer post be removed?
We file within 48 hours of your order, faster with the larger packs. Group admins sometimes act within hours; Meta and marketplaces usually decide within days. We follow up on every link until there is a decision.
How much does it cost for a shop?
From ₱2,050 per link, taxes included: one post, one review or one fake shop is one link. Packs lower the price per link, from ₱4,900 for 3 to ₱14,100 for 10, and monthly plans from ₱5,600 include monitoring for new posts.
