Remove a Glassdoor review that breaks the rules

A Glassdoor review of your company names a supervisor, discloses confidential client information or was written by someone who never worked there? NetClearer checks it against Glassdoor’s Community Guidelines and reports it to Glassdoor directly on your behalf, with the precise ground. Glassdoor decides. To remove a Glassdoor review costs from ₱1,400 per review, taxes included.

Glassdoor community guidelines: removable content

Every Glassdoor review goes through automated filters and human moderation, and any member can flag a review for a second look. Flags succeed when the review breaks the Community Guidelines, for example:

  • Naming non-executive individuals: Glassdoor allows comments about top leadership (CEO, president, owner, founder) but not negative remarks about identifiable employees outside that group.
  • Confidential or proprietary information: client names under contract, internal figures, unreleased projects.
  • Threats, harassment and hate speech.
  • Not first-hand: the author never worked or interviewed at the company.
  • Conflict of interest: a competitor, or someone posting for a current employee or manager.
  • Off-topic or promotional content, such as links or advertising.

How we report to Glassdoor

  1. Free assessment. You send the review links. We tell you which guideline each one breaks, or that it does not, before you pay.
  2. Authorisation. You sign a short mandate letter naming NetClearer as your representative. We never ask for your login and are never added to your employer account.
  3. Report. We contact Glassdoor’s support and content moderation team directly on your behalf, with the reason that fits and an explanation quoting the exact sentence that breaks the rule.
  4. Evidence. If Glassdoor asks, we provide what supports the report: proof the person was never employed, or why a detail is confidential.
  5. Follow-up. We check the result and report back, and draft an employer response where the review stays. If Glassdoor asks the account owner to confirm something, we tell you.

What Glassdoor protects

Glassdoor is explicit about what it will not do, and knowing this saves you money. It does not remove reviews because of their age, does not remove a company profile because the company asks, and states that employers cannot pay to have reviews removed. A harsh but first-hand account of pay, workload or management stays, even if you find it unfair. Glassdoor may remove content that is clearly false based on reliable independent sources, but a disputed opinion is not that. We only flag reviews with a real guideline ground.

Employers in the Philippines

For BPOs, shared-service centres and tech companies hiring in Manila, Cebu or Clark, Glassdoor is a page candidates check before applying, especially to multinational employers. The same people often post on Indeed too: see remove Indeed reviews. When a review names a team lead or quotes client data, the Data Privacy Act (RA 10173) is part of the context; we cite Glassdoor’s guidelines in the flag, and we are not a law firm.

What we never do

  • We never post reviews or reward employees for positive ones.
  • We never try to unmask the anonymous author.
  • We never flag honest criticism as a guideline breach.

Glassdoor is one of the platforms we cover to remove fake reviews. Prices: 1 review ₱1,400, 3 for ₱3,800, 10 for ₱10,550 (content removal prices).

Frequently asked questions

Can you find out who wrote the review?

No, and we do not try. Glassdoor protects reviewer anonymity, and trying to identify an employee who posted can create legal and HR problems for you. We work only on the content: if it breaks a guideline, we flag it; if not, we help you reply.

Does a paid Glassdoor plan help remove reviews?

No. Glassdoor states that employers cannot pay to have reviews removed. A paid employer plan gives branding and analytics features, not moderation privileges. We report directly to Glassdoor on your behalf, so no plan is needed, and Glassdoor’s moderators apply the same rules to every company.

Which Glassdoor flags work best?

Flags based on facts the moderators can see in the text: a named non-executive employee, confidential client details, threats, or clear signs the author never worked there. Flags based on “this is unfair” rarely succeed. In the free assessment we tell you which of your reviews have a real chance.

How much does it cost?

₱1,400 for one review, ₱3,800 for three and ₱10,550 for ten, taxes included. The assessment is free: you only pay for reviews we believe break a guideline. Glassdoor decides on each flag, so we never promise a removal.
