Choose the problem you are facing. Each page explains which Malaysian rules apply, what the platforms and MCMC already offer for free, how we handle the rest and what it costs.
Private photos or videos shared without consent in Malaysia: we report them to platforms and MCMC, ask Google to de-index them, and track copies on overseas sites.
IC numbers, phone numbers, home addresses and doxxing posts about you in Malaysia: reported where they are posted, then removed from Google results.
Old crime reports, tular stories and BM tabloid pieces that name you: we ask Malaysian portals to update or anonymise them, then deal with Google.
Search results and Google Images showing your IC number, address, intimate images or an outdated story: we file the right Google request, ideally after removal at the source.
Profiles using your name or photos on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, Telegram or dating apps: reported under each platform’s impersonation rules, then checked until they go.
Fake, abusive or rival reviews on Google Maps, Facebook, Shopee, Lazada, job boards and hotel sites: we file the removal request with the platform for your business.
Large platforms must answer user reports within hours under the Online Safety Act; forums, news portals, overseas sites and Google follow their own rules. We use the right route for each one and follow it up.

We ask the platform, forum, news portal or hosting company to delete the post, video, profile or review itself. Once it is gone there, the copies that depend on it, search results and AI answers included, go with it.

Malaysian law has no right to be forgotten, but Google removes pages and images under its own policies: intimate images, doxxing, personal contact details. When a site ignores us, we use those routes so searches for your name no longer lead to it.
Use the form below: links and screenshots with dates are enough, never the images themselves. The assessment is free.
We tell you what can come down, through which route (platform, MCMC, host or Google), how long it usually takes and the price in RM.
We file and follow up every request, send you proof, and on eligible plans keep checking for copies.
The same prices as NetClearer in France, converted to Malaysian ringgit. No file fee, no hidden costs.
Malaysia has no right to be forgotten, so removal relies on platform rules, Google’s policies and the laws below. Where a free public route fits your case, we tell you.
Act 866
Since 1 January 2026, licensed platforms with 8 million Malaysian users must acknowledge a report within 1 hour and assess it within 12 hours, and act on harmful content within hours.
Penal Code s.507E
Since 11 July 2025, publishing someone’s identity information to harass or distress them is a crime (up to 3 years). Sections 507B–507F also cover online harassment.
CMA s.233
Sending grossly offensive, obscene or menacing content online is an offence, used against intimate-image abuse and AI “undressing” images.
Act 840
Its tribunal (RM30 to file) can award up to RM250,000: in 2024 it ordered RM60,000 against an ex-partner who shared intimate photos.
PDPA 2010
Companies must stop processing your data when it causes unwarranted damage or distress. There is no general right to erasure, and private individuals and the press are outside it.
Time matters
Posts go “tular” fast on TikTok, Facebook and Telegram. Keep the links, screenshots and dates, report early to the platform, MCMC or the police, and send us everything they do not cover.
NetClearer is an online reputation company, not a law firm, and does not give legal advice. When a case needs a formal complaint or court action, we tell you and help you gather the evidence your lawyer will need.
Yes, it is free: under the Online Safety Act large platforms must answer in-app reports within hours, and MCMC accepts complaints at aduan.mcmc.gov.my. We handle what they do not: Google, forums, news portals, overseas and adult sites, re-uploads and businesses.
Yes. Only the team handling your case sees your information. We never contact your family, your employer or the person who posted without your approval, never ask for your passwords, and handle your data in line with the PDPA.
No, and nobody honest can promise that. Content that breaks a platform’s rules or the law can usually be removed. If something cannot be, we tell you before you pay and suggest what else can be done.
We start within 48 hours. Clear breaches on large platforms often go within days; forum threads, news articles and search results can take a few weeks. You get a realistic timeline with your quote.
Prices are fixed and public: from RM133 per link and RM92 per review removal request, with no extra fees. Packs and monthly plans lower the price per link. Payment is by card, securely through Stripe.
