Remove malicious reviews from your Lazada store

Lazada’s own seller rules treat bad reviews ordered by a competing seller as anti-competitive behaviour, and its terms let it remove inappropriate content. NetClearer gathers the evidence Lazada needs, files the request for your store and follows it to a decision. RM92 per review, no extra fees, without your Seller Center password.

Lazada’s rules that work in your favour

Two Lazada Malaysia documents matter for review removal. The terms and conditions allow Lazada to remove content it considers prohibited or inappropriate, and to act on complaints from other users. The seller policy on anti-competitive behaviour goes further: it names malicious evaluation, where a seller uses buyer accounts to order from a competitor and leave bad reviews or claims that do not match the facts. Sellers found doing this can receive up to 16 non-compliance points per incident.

In practice, Lazada does not remove a review because it is negative. It acts when the review is abusive or irrelevant, or when the evidence shows it came from a rival rather than a genuine buyer.

Cases Malaysian Lazada sellers bring us

  • A run of one-star reviews after a campaign day from buyers who ordered the cheapest variant, all claiming the item was fake or used.
  • Buyer accounts linked to a competing store: the same name, address area or phone pattern as the rival shop’s returns.
  • Insults and threats aimed at your packer or customer service staff, sometimes with a photo of the person.
  • Reviews about something else: the courier, a different seller, or LazMall delivery times, posted under your product.
  • Pressure ratings: a buyer who asked for a refund outside the return process, was refused, and then posted abuse.

Evidence that makes a difference

Malicious-review cases are won on evidence, not on argument. Before you contact us, keep these items; they are what we use to build the request.

  • Order numbers, dates and the variant bought for each disputed review.
  • Delivery and return records showing the item was received in good condition, or never returned.
  • Chat history in Lazada Chat, especially any threat to leave a bad review.
  • Any sign that links buyer accounts to each other or to a competitor.
  • Screenshots of the reviews with dates, before the buyer edits or deletes them.

Free routes, then our work

You can reply to reviews publicly, block a buyer who harasses you in Lazada Chat, and raise the issue with Lazada seller support yourself. Those steps cost nothing. The Online Safety Act 2025 does not cover marketplace reviews, and Malaysia has no specific fake-review rule, so Lazada’s own policies are the effective route.

What we add: we read the disputed reviews against Lazada’s terms and its fair-trading rules, organise the evidence into one clear file per review or per campaign, submit it through Lazada’s seller support channels and keep following up until there is a decision.

Steps and price

  1. Send the product links and the reviews concerned through the contact form for a free assessment.
  2. Sign an authorisation letter for your store. No password, no sub-account.
  3. Share the order and chat evidence; we turn it into a structured request.
  4. We file it with Lazada and follow up on every reply.
  5. You receive the outcome for each review: removed, refused with the reason, or pending.

RM92 per review, RM248 for 3, RM683 for 10. Fixed price, no extra fees, paid by card through Stripe. Work starts within 48 hours. Lazada decides each case; investigations into competing sellers take longer than abuse reports. Also on Shopee? Frequently asked questions

Can Lazada really punish a competitor who left fake reviews?

Lazada’s anti-competitive behaviour policy covers sellers who order from rivals to leave malicious reviews, with non-compliance points per incident. Whether it acts depends on the evidence. Our job is to put that evidence in front of Lazada clearly; the decision and any penalty on the other seller are Lazada’s.

Will the buyer or the competitor find out?

We never contact the buyer, the rival store or anyone outside Lazada. The request goes to the platform with your authorisation, and Lazada handles its own investigation. Your store name appears only where Lazada needs to confirm we act for you.

A genuine buyer gave one star because the parcel was late. Can it go?

If the review simply reports a late delivery, it is genuine feedback and stays. If it insults your staff, names a rider or is mainly about another seller, it may break Lazada’s content rules. We tell you which case applies during the free assessment, before any payment.

Do you help with LazMall stores and brand official stores?

Yes. The same rules and process apply to LazMall and official stores, and brands often face larger coordinated campaigns. For more than a handful of reviews, a pack of 10 at RM683 keeps the cost per review lower, with one evidence file covering the pattern.

Tell us what’s happening. We’ll take it from here.

Free, confidential assessment. Send the links through the form: we reply within 24 hours with the route and the fixed RM price.
