Remove intimate images shared without your consent
If private photos or videos of you are online without your consent, NetClearer files the takedown reports with each platform and with MCMC, asks Google to drop the links, and follows copies on overseas sites. You only send links, never the images. RM133 per link, fixed price, no extra fees; work starts within 48 hours.

The first hours: what helps and what makes it worse
- Keep the evidence, not the file. Note every link (URL), the account or channel name, and take a screenshot that shows the page, the date and the time without showing the intimate part.
- Do not forward the image to anyone, even to friends who offer to report it.
- Do not confront the person who posted it. It often triggers more uploads and warns them to move the content elsewhere.
- If someone is demanding money or more images, stop replying and read our sextortion help page before you do anything else.
- If the person shown was under 18, go to the police first. This is child sexual abuse material, which platforms must treat as priority content under the Online Safety Act 2025.
The free routes in Malaysia, and where each one stops
Several routes cost nothing: the in-app report, a complaint to MCMC at aduan.mcmc.gov.my, a police report at a police station, and a claim before the Anti-Sexual Harassment Tribunal when you know the poster. They are real, and so are their limits.
| Route | What it gives you | Where it stops |
|---|---|---|
| In-app report (Online Safety Act 2025) | Licensed platforms such as TikTok, Telegram, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube must acknowledge within 1 hour, assess within 12 hours, and make obscene or indecent content inaccessible within 4 hours once assessed as harmful | Only platforms with 8 million or more Malaysian users; X is not licensed; private messaging features are excluded |
| MCMC complaint (aduan.mcmc.gov.my) | Any user may report harmful content to MCMC, which can order removal or ask ISPs to block a site | Blocking works inside Malaysia only; mirror domains and Google results remain visible abroad and through VPNs |
| Police report | Opens a criminal investigation (extortion, harassment, obscene material) | Must be made by you in person at a police station; it does not remove anything by itself |
| Anti-Sexual Harassment Tribunal | Civil claim, RM30 filing fee, awards up to RM250,000, no lawyer needed | Compensation and an apology, not removal of copies already spread |
| StopNCII.org | Creates a digital fingerprint on your own device so partner platforms can block matching uploads | Adults only; partners include Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit and Pornhub, but not Google Search, X or Telegram |
Which situation is yours?
Intimate-image cases follow three patterns, each with its own order of steps. Pick the one that fits yours.
Leaked video removal
A private video of you circulating on Telegram, X, TikTok or overseas sites: we report each copy, de-index it from Google and look for re-uploads.

Threatened after a video call or chat with someone you met online? What to do in the first hour, who to call in Malaysia, and how we stop the images spreading.

AI-made nude or sexual images using your face: we report them as fake intimate imagery to platforms, MCMC and Google, and track the channels that copy them.

Section 24 of the Online Safety Act lets any user, not only the victim, report harmful content to MCMC. So we can file both the platform report and the MCMC complaint for you, worded against the right category of the Act. A police report is different: it must come from you, at a station, and we prepare the timeline, links and screenshots so you walk in with a clean file.
- Google Search and Google Images. No Malaysian law forces de-indexing, but Google removes intimate images under its own policies and looks for duplicates.
- Overseas adult and leak sites. They sit outside the Online Safety Act. We use their removal forms, the hosting company’s abuse desk and copyright notices. See adult website removal.
- Telegram channels and bots that resell “collections”: Telegram leak removal.
- X (Twitter) reposts, where the Act gives no deadline: X removal.
- Lowyat and Cari threads asking for or sharing links: forum post removal.
- Re-uploads. Leaks come back under new titles; larger packs include monitoring.
How a case runs with NetClearer
- Free, confidential assessment. Send the links through the contact form (Messenger also works). We reply with what can be removed, by which route, and the exact price. Nothing is charged at this stage.
- Payment by card through Stripe, only once you agree with the plan. Work starts within 48 hours, faster on larger packs.
- Reports at the source. Platform reports under each site’s rules and the Online Safety Act, MCMC complaint, abuse and copyright notices to hosts.
- De-indexing. Google requests for every page and image, including copies we find on the way.
- Follow-up until each link is resolved, with appeals where the rules allow and a short status for each link.
Malaysian law in plain words
Malaysia has no single “revenge porn” offence in force today. Cases rely on Penal Code section 507B (online conduct meant to cause harassment, distress, fear or alarm), the extortion sections when there is a demand, section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 for obscene content (up to RM500,000 and/or 2 years), and the Online Safety Act 2025 for platform duties. In June 2026 the Kuala Lumpur High Court upheld a RM60,000 Tribunal award against a man who shared his former partner’s intimate photos.
A Cybercrimes Bill passed by Parliament in July 2026 creates a specific offence, including for AI-generated images, but it is not yet in force. NetClearer is not a law firm: this is information, not legal advice. For a police case, the Tribunal or a civil claim, see a lawyer or a support organisation such as the Women’s Aid Organisation.
Discretion, from the first message
- We never ask you to send the photos or videos. Links and neutral screenshots are enough.
- We never contact your family, your employer, your school or the person who posted the content.
- We never ask for your passwords or for access to your accounts.
- Reports do not reveal who filed them; if a form needs your name, we tell you first.
Price and timelines
One link costs RM133, fixed price, no extra fees, and work starts within 48 hours. Leaks usually involve several links: 3 links RM316 (action within 36 hours), 10 links RM912 (within 24 hours, with a removal report), 20 links RM1,600 with monitoring for re-uploads; monthly plans from RM362. See the pricing page. We commit to actions and deadlines; each platform and Google make the final decision, so we follow up rather than file and forget.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to make a police report before you can help?
No. We can start with the platforms, MCMC and Google straight away. A police report is still worth making when there is extortion, a threat or a known poster. We prepare the evidence pack and timeline; you file it in person at a police station.
Will my family or employer find out?
Not from us. We never contact anyone around you or the person who posted it. Platform reports are confidential and the uploader is not told who reported. You choose how and when we contact you, and our messages never describe the content.
Is it not enough to report it to MCMC myself?
It is a good first step and it is free. MCMC acts on platforms and can block sites inside Malaysia, but blocked sites reappear on mirror domains and Google results stay visible abroad. We add Google, overseas hosts, X, forums and the follow-up on every copy.
What if I once agreed to the photo or video being taken?
Agreeing to a recording is not agreeing to its publication. Google’s policy, the Online Safety Act categories and the platforms’ own rules all look at whether it was shared without consent. You will not be judged here, and nothing you tell us is passed on.
Can you promise the content will disappear for good?
No honest service can. We promise the actions: correct reports within 48 hours, follow-up on every link and new requests for copies we find. Some small overseas sites resist every request; we then focus on their host and on Google, and we tell you plainly.
