Remove your home address from Google in Malaysia

When your house number, taman and jalan appear online next to your name, NetClearer asks the platform or website to take the address down and asks Google to remove the results that still show it. We cover Facebook, TikTok, forums, directories and news portals. RM133 per link, fixed price with no extra fees; work starts within 48 hours.

Why an exposed address is urgent

A phone number brings calls. An address brings people to the gate. In many doxxing cases, the address is posted with a photo of the house or the condo lobby, so that anyone angry enough can find it without searching. Parents worry about children walking to school; renters worry about the landlord; people living in a kampung worry that everyone will know by the evening.

  • Exposé videos that end with the exterior of your home and the street sign
  • Facebook group posts with a Google Maps pin dropped on your house
  • Property listings that still show your unit number and name after you moved in
  • Directory and company-information sites that list a home address used to register a business
  • News portal stories that printed the full address of a house involved in an incident

Safety comes before removal

If your address was posted with threats, or if strangers have already come to your home, call 999 and make a police report at a police station. Publishing someone’s identity information so that they fear harm, or to make harm possible, is an offence under Penal Code section 507F; doing it to cause harassment or distress falls under section 507E. We prepare a dated evidence pack of every link so your report is complete. The doxxing removal page explains that service in detail.

Removal routes for an address

SourceWhat we ask forWho decides
Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Telegram postRemoval under privacy rules on residential information, plus an MCMC complaint where the Online Safety Act appliesThe platform, within the Act’s timelines for licensed services
Forum or blogEdit or deletion by the moderators or the hostThe site operator
Directory or company-information siteRemoval of a home address, with a PDPA section 42 request where the site is a businessThe site; the Personal Data Protection Commissioner if it refuses
News portalEditing out the house number or unit, not the whole storyThe editor
Google SearchRemoval of results that show your address under Google’s contact-details policyGoogle

News portals are not bound by the Online Safety Act, and the PDPA exempts journalism in the public interest. Editors will often still agree to remove a precise address that adds nothing to the story, which is why we ask for that rather than for the article to be deleted.

Google Maps and Street View

Two free steps you can take yourself. If your home appears in Street View, use “Report a problem” on the image and ask Google to blur your house; Google treats blurring as a final change. If someone has added a label, a fake business or an insulting name to your home on Google Maps, use “Suggest an edit” or report the place. We can do this for you as part of a case, but there is no need to pay us for it if it is the only issue.

How we work

  1. Free assessment: send the links and, if the address appears in a video, the time in the video where it is shown.
  2. Fixed quote in ringgit, with the route for each link and an honest note where the chances are low.
  3. Card payment through Stripe; work starts within 48 hours.
  4. Requests to each site, platform and Google, chased until there is an answer.
  5. Final check that a search for your name and address no longer brings up the removed pages.

Price

RM133 for one link, RM316 for three, RM912 for ten with a removal report, and RM1,600 for twenty with monitoring for re-uploads. Fixed price, no extra fees. See the pricing page. If your phone number or IC is also posted, the personal information removal service covers all of it in one case.

Frequently asked questions

Can you remove my address from every website?

We can request removal from every page you or we find, but each site decides. Platforms and directories usually remove a private address; some overseas sites ignore requests, and then we ask Google to remove the result so that a search for your name stops leading to it.

My address is on an official register. Can it be removed?

Government and official registers are outside the PDPA and Google tends to keep official records in results. We do not ask registries to change their records. We can, however, ask third-party sites that copied the record to take your home address down.

Will my neighbours or landlord know I asked?

No. We never contact your family, neighbours, landlord or employer, and the person who posted is not told who made the report. Reports are made in our name or as your authorised representative, with no information beyond what is needed to identify the post.

I have moved. Is it still worth removing the old address?

Usually yes. An old address still leads people to relatives or to the new tenant, and it is often combined with your name and photos in a way that makes the next post easier to write. Removing it also cuts the link between your name and that place in Google.

Tell us what’s happening. We’ll take it from here.

Free, confidential assessment. Send the links through the form: we reply within 24 hours with the route and the fixed RM price.
