Six removal services for Hong Kong

Pick the problem you face. Each page sets out which Hong Kong rules apply, what the PCPD, RainLily and the platforms already do for free, what we handle on top and the fixed price.

Remove URLs from Google

Pages and images about you in Google Search: we match each result to the right Google removal policy, file the request and deal with the source site.

Something is spreading right now?

A LIHKG thread, a Telegram channel or a Facebook post about you is being shared? Our crisis team responds 24/7.

From Facebook to LIHKG, every platform has its own route

Hong Kong has no online-safety law with takedown deadlines, so each platform, forum and adult site applies its own rules, and the PCPD can serve doxxing cessation notices on overseas platforms. We pick the right route for each link and chase it.

All platforms we handle

Taken down at the source, then removed from Google

Always in this order, so the content disappears rather than resurfacing on another page.

01

Removal at the source

We ask the platform, forum, Telegram channel, adult site or host to delete the post, video, profile or review itself. Once the original is gone, copies that depend on it, search results and AI answers included, usually follow.

02

De-indexing from Google

Hong Kong has no right to be forgotten, but Google removes pages and images under its own policies: intimate images, doxxing, HKID numbers and contact details. When a site does not respond, we use those routes so a search for your name stops leading to it.

Clear steps, fixed prices

  1. 01

    Send the links confidentially

Use the form below: links and screenshots showing the date and time are enough, never the images themselves. The assessment is free.

  2. 02

Receive a written plan within 24 hours

We tell you in writing what can come down, through which route (platform, Google, the PCPD or the site’s host), how long it usually takes and the fixed price in HK$.

  3. 03

    We act and keep watch

We file every request, chase each one, send you proof, and on eligible plans keep checking for re-uploads.

Transparent prices, in Hong Kong dollars

The same prices as NetClearer in France, converted to Hong Kong dollars. No file fee, no deposit, no hidden costs.

Hong Kong law and platform rules

Hong Kong has no right to be forgotten and no online-safety law with takedown deadlines. Removal relies on platform rules, Google’s policies and the ordinances below, and where a free public route fits your case, we say so.

PDPO Part 9A

Doxxing offence

Since 8 October 2021, disclosing someone’s personal data to harass, threaten or harm them is an offence (up to HK$1,000,000 and 5 years). The PCPD can serve cessation notices, including on platforms outside Hong Kong.

Cap. 200 s.159AAE

Intimate images

Publishing, or threatening to publish, an intimate image without consent is a crime carrying up to 5 years, and altered or AI-made images are covered too. Police reports are made by the victim.

Cap. 21

Defamation and forums

Since the Court of Final Appeal’s Fevaworks ruling (2013), a forum host that is properly notified of a defamatory post must act within a reasonable time. Court claims need a Hong Kong solicitor.

Cap. 486

Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance

Hong Kong data users must keep personal data accurate and use it only for its original purpose, and inaccurate data can be corrected on request. There is no general right to erasure, and it does not reach Google.

Google policy

Personal information removal

Google removes results showing an HKID number, bank details, contact details posted to harm you, or intimate images shared without consent, under its own policies and wherever you live.

Time matters

A thread can go viral within hours

LIHKG threads and Telegram forwards travel fast. Keep the links and screenshots with the date and time, report early to the platform, the PCPD (doxxing hotline 3423 6666) or the police, and send us whatever they do not cover.

NetClearer is an online reputation company, not a law firm, and does not give legal advice. For an injunction or a defamation claim, consult a Hong Kong solicitor; we help you put together the evidence they will need.

Questions Hong Kong clients ask us

Should I go to the PCPD, RainLily or the police first?

It depends on the case, and all three are free. Doxxing goes to the PCPD (hotline 3423 6666), intimate images to RainLily’s Take-Down Assistance, naked-chat blackmail to the police or the Anti-Scam Helpline 18222. We cover the rest: Google, forums, Telegram, adult sites, reviews, re-uploads, and the PCPD complaint itself if you authorise us in writing.

Will anyone find out?

No. Only the team handling your case sees your details. We never contact your employer, your family, your estate management or the person who posted, never ask for your passwords, and handle your data under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.

Can you remove anything?

No, and no honest provider can promise that. Content that breaks a platform’s rules or Hong Kong law can usually come down. If a link has little chance, we tell you in writing before you pay. We do not handle political, national-security or public-interest content.

How fast do you act?

Work starts within 48 hours, sooner with packs. Clear breaches on large platforms often come down within days; forum threads, news articles and Google results can take a few weeks. Your written quotation includes a realistic timeline for each link.

How much does it cost?

Prices are fixed and published: from HK$255 per link and HK$176 per review removal request, with no extra fees. Packs and monthly plans lower the price per link. Payment is by card, securely through Stripe, after your free written assessment.

Do you work for companies and people outside Hong Kong?

Yes. We work entirely online for residents, Hong Kong people living overseas, restaurants, shops and companies, including when the content is hosted outside Hong Kong, on overseas forums, Telegram channels or adult sites.

Tell us what’s happening. We’ll take it from here.

Free, confidential assessment in writing. Send the links through the form: we reply within 24 hours with the route, the timeline and the fixed HK$ price.
