Remove posts, reposts and impersonation on X

Your private images are being reposted on X, a post publishes your mobile number and estate, or an account uses your name and photo? NetClearer reports each post and account through X’s own forms, asks Google to drop the pages, and uses the PCPD route when it is doxxing. HK$255 per link, fixed price, no extra fees; work starts within 48 hours.

X in Hong Kong

x.com is the seventh most visited website in Hong Kong (Similarweb, August 2026). Its audience figures are hard to read: DataReportal reports an advertising reach larger than the population and itself flags the number as unreliable. What matters for victims is that X allows adult content, spreads reposts fast and is not a StopNCII partner, so hashing your image does not stop uploads on X. HK01 reported in 2025 on intimate images and doxxing posts reposted on the platform.

What we report on X

  • Intimate images or videos posted without consent, including reposts, quote posts and edited or AI-made versions.
  • Private information: HKID number, home address with block and flat, mobile number, workplace or photos of your home, posted to expose or threaten you.
  • Impersonation: an account using your name and photos, or your company’s name and logo, in a way that misleads people.
  • Targeted harassment: coordinated replies and posts aimed at you, with your personal details attached.

X’s reporting forms

Posts can be reported from the menu on each post, but X also has dedicated forms in its Help Center (help.x.com) for private information, non-consensual nudity and impersonation. These forms accept reports from people who do not use X, and a report about private information or impersonation is normally expected to come from the person concerned or an authorised representative. X decides under its own rules, and it often removes the specific post while leaving the account active unless violations repeat.

Because reposts are separate posts, each one needs its own report. That is where most of the work lies on X.

Hong Kong routes alongside X

When a post discloses your personal data to harass or frighten you, it may be doxxing under Part 9A of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, and the PCPD can serve a cessation notice on platforms outside Hong Kong. We prepare and file the free complaint with your written authorisation; you remain the complainant and witness. For intimate images, section 159AAE of the Crimes Ordinance applies, and the police report is made by you; we prepare the facts and the list of posts. For scams using an impersonating account, call the Anti-Scam Helpline 18222.

Our work on an X case

  1. Free written assessment: we review the posts and accounts, tell you which X policy applies to each and send a fixed quotation.
  2. Reports through the right X form, post by post, with your authorisation and proof of identity where X requires it.
  3. Google: posts and image results that show your name with intimate images or personal data are submitted under Google’s own policies.
  4. Follow-up on new reposts; the 20-link package at HK$3,074 includes monitoring for re-uploads.

Discretion and limits

We never log into your X account and never reply to or contact the account holder. Never send us intimate images: links are enough. If a minor is involved, call 999 or go to a police station first. We do not handle political, national-security or public-interest posts, or criticism of public figures.

Frequently asked questions

I do not have an X account. Can posts about me be removed?

Yes. X’s Help Center forms for private information, non-consensual nudity and impersonation can be used without an account. We file them on your behalf with your authorisation, and we handle the copies on Google and other sites at the same time.

X removed one post, but the image is still in reposts. Why?

On X each repost and quote post is a separate item, and a removal decision covers the post reported. We list every repost we can find and report each one, then check again after a few days, because reposts often keep appearing for a while.

Can StopNCII block my images on X?

Not today. X is not among the StopNCII partner platforms, so hashing your image protects you on Facebook, Instagram, Reddit and several other sites, but not on X. That is why we report X posts one by one and ask Google to de-index them.

What does an X case usually cost?

One post costs HK$255. Reposts make most cases larger: 3 links cost HK$608 and 10 links HK$1,753, with a written removal report. Prices are fixed with no extra fees, and the free assessment tells you the number of links before you pay.

Tell us what’s happening. We’ll take it from here.

Free, confidential assessment in writing. Send the links through the form: we reply within 24 hours with the route, the timeline and the fixed HK$ price.
