Today: four things that protect you
- Never send us the video: links are enough. Copy the page address of each copy you have seen.
- If the person filmed is under 18, call 999 or go to a police station first.
- Note where you found it: the site, the channel name, the title used and the date. Titles often contain a school, an MTR station or an estate name, which helps us find copies.
- Do not comment, rate or download from the page. Engagement pushes a video up the site’s own rankings.
How leaked videos spread in Hong Kong
The pattern is well documented. In August 2025, police arrested ten people linked to a Telegram group of about 9,000 members that had shared some 15,000 upskirt and leaked images over three years, with paid “VIP” tiers and around 200 students among the victims (Malay Mail and FMT, 21 August 2025). Content from groups like this does not stay inside them.
Five adult sites sit in Hong Kong’s 50 most visited websites: jable.tv, missav, hanime1, pornhub and stripchat (Similarweb, August 2026). Uploaders copy a clip from one to the other, change the title, and post the link back into Telegram channels and forum threads. A takedown on one site rarely ends the case: the work is finding and closing each copy.

How we remove a leaked video
- Mapping: from your links, we search the titles, thumbnails and channel names to list every copy we can find. You receive the list with the free written assessment and a fixed quotation.
- Source takedowns: within 48 hours of payment we file with each site and channel, choosing the ground that works best there (non-consent, privacy, copyright).
- Google: we request de-indexing of every URL, including pages already gone but still shown in results.
- Second sweep: we search again for re-uploads and file new requests. With 20 links, monitoring continues for re-uploads.
Hidden cameras and upskirt videos
Recordings made in changing rooms, toilets, on escalators or on public transport are a recognised offence category in Hong Kong. Since October 2021 the Crimes Ordinance covers voyeurism, unlawful recording of intimate parts and publishing such recordings; s.159AAE separately covers publishing or threatening to publish any intimate image without consent. Police recorded 341 unlawful-recording cases in 2025 (LegCo reply, 17 June 2026).
You do not need to know who filmed you for us to start. If you decide to report, the police need the same links we collect, so our dated list is useful to them. The report itself is made by you.
Honest limits
- Some offshore sites ignore requests. Then we work on their hosts and on Google, so the video stops appearing when someone searches your name.
- We cannot reach copies on private phones or inside closed Telegram groups.
- Court-ordered removal exists only on the prosecution’s application in a criminal case. NetClearer is not a law firm and files no court documents.

Frequently asked questions
My face is not visible. Can the video still be removed?
Often yes. Tube sites and Google accept requests from the person shown even when the face is hidden, if you can identify yourself through the setting, clothing or the title used. We explain this in the request without sending any image, and describe the identifying details in words.
The video was filmed with my consent but shared without it. Does that matter?
No. Agreeing to be filmed is not agreeing to publication. Platforms treat the sharing as non-consensual, and in Hong Kong s.159AAE is about publishing without consent. We file the requests on that basis and do not need to explain the relationship.
How quickly do tube sites remove videos?
It varies by site, from a day to several weeks, and some never reply. We file within 48 hours of payment, follow up on every request and move to the host or to Google when a site stays silent. You receive a written status for each link, not a vague promise.
Can StopNCII stop new uploads?
It helps on partner sites such as Pornhub, Facebook, Instagram and Reddit. You create the fingerprint on your own device and the file never leaves it. It does not cover Google, X or Telegram, so we keep checking those for new copies.
